REPORT ON THE MEETING HELD IN LIMA, PERU.

 

The second Latin American Meeting on Children Hematology (2nd Latin American Hematology Conference) was held at the Casa Andina Hotel in Lima, Peru, on May 21 and 22. 21 It researchers attended the meeting, including external advisers from Italy (Valentino Conter) and the United States (Monika Metzger, Carlos Rodríguez-Galindo, and Scott Howard).​

During this meeting the administrative structure of CLEHOP was defined, which is composed of the Executive Board, the Committee of Integrative Policy and the Scientific Committee.

 

  • Executive Board: responsible for the general direction of CLEHOP.

  • Integrative Policy Committee: Its main function is to ensure that CLEHOP projects comply with national and regional regulations.

  • Scientific Committee: are responsible for reviewing research proposals.


CLEHOP plenary meetings are held once a month. These meetings are online through the Cure4Kids platform. The frequency of meetings of the different committees will be determined according to the need of the project.
In addition to the administrative structure, CLEHOP decided as the first project to develop a common protocol for the treatment of Hodgkin lymphoma.
