Buenos Aires, Argentina 2013

In november 2013, the Argentine Group of Acute Leukemia Treatment (G.A.T.L.A.) invited the doctors Alejandro Mauricio Arancibia (Brazil), Erick Mauricio CastellanosAlquijay (Guatemala), Juan Luis Garcia Leon (Peru) and Augustin Dario Contreras Costa (Colombia) to its anual meeting in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Each one of the countries presented their actual situation of pediatric oncology. At the end, doctos Eduardo Dibar and Daniel Freigeiro firstly mentioned about the possibility of creating a work group amongst those countries.

Berlin, Germanhy 2014

In May 2014, doctors Alejandro M. Arancibia (Brasil), Erick Mauricio Castellanos Alquijay (AHOPCA) and David Alejandro Veron (GATLA) took part on the 2nd International Symposium on Childhood, Adolescent and Young Adult Hodgkin Lymphoma in Berlin, Germany. The very first idea of CLEHOP was presented in this meeting with a poster.

The doctors Erick Mauricio Castellanos Alquijay (AHOPCA) and David Alejandro Veron (GATLA) introduced their group work experience with the Hodgkin Linphoma in Children and Adolescents Treatment Protocol.

 

Montevideo, Uruguay 2015

After several web encounters, the first CLEHOP meeting finally happened in Carrasco, Montevideo, with the participation of 3 representants from Argentina, 4 from Brasil, 1 from Guatemala, 2 from Mexico and 2 from Peru.

The meeting was very sucessfull and the expected result: CLEHOP was definitely born!
